This device is designed for labor induction when the cervix is dilated 1 cm or more, supporting triple and tetra Foley techniques. The Foley introducer is essential for precise, painless catheter placement in primigravida and multigravida patients, typically leading to successful induction within 6 to 12 hours. Local xylocaine jelly is recommended. For tetra Foley induction, a No. 12 Foley catheter with a thinner introducer is used.
